What value can we can through transformative change?  Relevance, growth, greater global impact, and more are possible if we have the courage to change.  RIPE Barry Rassin touched on this at the 2017 Rotary International Assembly in his remarks to the 2017/18 District Governors.

W. Edwards Deming said, "It is not necessary to change.  Survival is not mandatory."  In his remarks at the 2017 Rotary International Assembly, RIPE Barry Rassin discusses the needs for transformative change in Rotary.  There is general consensus that Rotary needs to change.  While membership has remained at 1.2 million for 12 years, it is declining in North America.  Change is difficult.  Fear is one of the most common source resistance to change.  Fear can prevent taking any action at all.

I encourage you listen to Barry Rassin and think of how you can be a change agent in your Club.  The 2017/18 District Governors are there to help us change.  We need to be willing and ask for their help.
