I am looking forward to viewing the training through this site. Progress! Let's keep all these good ideas about eDistricts. Our first big hurdle is getting a proposal written, viewed by our BOD & then membership. It then is sent to D5510 for their COL at the '08 District Conference in June. Hopefully, it will pass when voted on by all D5510 club representatives. Then it is sent to RI for presentation to the Board for 2010 COL. A long legislative process, but it is the Rotary process. At this point we only know we are writing a eClub permanency proposal. Hopefully other eClubs will write one for their Host District COL. Judy

A minor irritation, but something that might discourage those less patient among us. Jack Selway, Founder & CEO Rotary Global History Fellowship (RGHF), Pueblo, CO, USA

Ya gotta love forums! As I've become more and more familiar with the RECSWUSA site and the conversations that take place here, I've found I'm always intrigued by the references to other eClubs. I even attended the eClub of London Centenary several times, and enjoyed its approach. Point being, is there anywhere online where eClub folks (members or visitors) are sharing their impressions and successes such that all eClubs might benefit? A wiki or similar might allow something along those lines quite easily. I suppose that one strength of an eDistrict would be helping clubs through such sharing. Rushton

Too bad i wasn't here three months ago when you made this post. I think a forum is better than a wiki, but if people want to do it via wiki, I'll make it happen....
