Couple of notes: to learn more about Arch Klumph and what eventually became TRF visit http://www.rotaryfirst100.org/presidents/1916klumph/
He was president in 1916. 1913 was Russ Greiner. RGHF is a great source for all of the Global History of Rotary http://www.rghf.org
Lastly a personal note on donation to TRF. Several times I was given "points" by clubs and individuals that promoted me up the ladder with rubies and other gems. But when I decided to become a major donor (10K is the first level) I found that the points don't count and had to come up with the cash. The rub was that I didn't ask my spouse/partner when I spend the several thousand to reach that level. Every year we get invited to several major donor events and I'm reminded that she did not contribute willingly. My wife is an angel, this is not a reflection on her, but my suggestion that you don't make my mistake.
As for Rushton (ain't he a bright fellow?) my career was audio, film, and then video with my own production company in San Francisco, but for the life of me, I can't figure out the technologies of today's media. I've got awards for video, but can't manage to create a bleeping sound on my computer. God Bless Rushton and all the young folks of today.
