Rotaract: Service and Leadership in Action
Speaker: Larry Levenson
Date: Sep 21, 2009
Our speaker today is our club's president, Larry Levenson. In 1995, he walked into a Rotary meeting after hearing they do grants for international projects. Learning that one is supposed to have been invited, he pointed to the person next to him, saying, "He invited me!"
Following that, he learned of the importance of speaking the truth from The Four-Way Test, and has been a notably more respectable soul since. As the eClub's president, he has brought and put plenty of energy behind all sorts of ideas, with a special interest in helping World Peace Fellows find their way into the Rotary fold.
Today's program follows in that interest with an exploration of Rotaract and what it can be as an Internet club - and how we can help!
