How long have you been in Rotary?
I first joined Rotary in 1992 as a member of the Fountain Hills RC then was a charter member of the Four Peaks RC in 1995.
Which was your favorite?
I have really enjoyed serving in the capacity of District Secretary.

District Secretary for past three years.
What other Rotary involvement have you had? (Exchange, Friendship exchange, GSE, etc.)
I have been very involved in various aspects of Rotary: served on the GSE committee and hosted GSE teams; District Conference Committee; Gift of Life Board; and, PETS Committee and facilitator.
eClub works for me because...
I found that I was over-committed to Rotary and needed to re-prioritize my activities without terminating membership in this valuable organization.
How would you describe yourself?
I am mature but not old; take pride in my accomplishments; straight forward in my communication and thought processes; put business ethics in high priority; and, enjoy a good joke.
What are your 3 most favorite things?
My family.
Training and mentoring in Rotary and my professional life.
Being creative with technology (Publisher, etc.); silk flower arranging and jewelry beading.
3 least favorite things?
Behavior that is mean, petty and lacking in character.

"In my efforts to strive to be perfect, I am occasionally reminded that I have not yet reached my goal." (Applies to me as well as those encountered throughout daily activities - everyone wants to do a good job.)

Beading and flower arranging. I also enjoy cooking.

What is your favorite book and why?
I have really enjoyed the Janet Evanovich series about bounty hunter, Stephanie Plum. The books are laugh-out-loud funny with snappy one-liners and oddball characters teamed up with intrigue and mystery.
If you could meet your great-great grandparents, what would you ask them?
What do you wish for yourself and your children? Do you feel you got your wish and why?
If money were not an a concern, what profession would you choose?
Exactly what I am doing now.
What is your favorite movie? Why?
"Somewhere in Time", a really great love story starring Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour that my husband and I enjoy watching together.
What might surprise people about you?
Hmmmmm. I need to think about that. I am very open so most people are usually not surprised by much about me.
If you could muster the courage, what would you like to do?
Skydive.
If you relive one day, which would it be?
9-11 but with a different result.
What is the best advice your parents gave you?
You can accomplish anything if you try hard enough and stay committed.
Things always work out for the best.
What is the best advice you have given your children?
Always try to do the right thing even when it may not be comfortable or profitable for you. Admit your mistakes and move on. Try to be the best you can be and always know that I love you - unconditionally.
Describe the most beautiful sight you have ever seen:
I love sunsets and sunrises in Arizona.
Where would you like to retire?
Summers in Idaho and winters in Arizona.
