How long have you been in Rotary? Estimate if you do not know exact dates.
I have been a Rotarian a couple of times since 1985. I had to take time out when my job took me away from my home club.

What other Rotary involvement have you had? (Exchange, Friendship exchange, GSE, etc.)
My family has hosted exchange studends both when I was in high school and when my children were in high school.

eClub works for me because...
I am currently working and unable to attend my club on a regular basis. eClub helps keep my attendance up and allows me enjoy some really great programs.

About Me

How would you describe yourself? List qualities that friends might use to describe you.
Just like anyone else. I am raising a family (they are older but you never seem to stop the process.)

What are your favorite things, in personal and work life?
I enjoy the members of my family. They have turned in to people that I am proud of. I have a wife that is just incredible. She is very bright, hard working and a real joy to partner with. She is probably the main reason my kids are people I can be proud of. Okay. That is only two. I will work on the third

Some least favorite things?
I am not very pleased with what I see as a political division in the U S. In my opinion the split seems to becoming greater and there is less tolerance of each side for the other.

What type of vehicle do you drive, or doperfer another mode of transportation?
What ever the kids are not driving.

What type of pets do you prefer?
Pets? A couple. Three dogs, about 12 cats (I am not really sure just how many.) We have adopted strays and also cats from the local shelter. The best one was the temporary custody program for mother cats to be. You take them home, raise the kittens then take them all back to the shelter to be adopted in to loving homes. They just never seem to return to the shelter for some reason.

My special skills and talents are...
I am in Logistics. This has given me what I consider to be pretty good problem solving skills. I have a degree in Accounting and am amazed how this makes you look at problems.

If money were not an a concern, what profession would you choose?
I enjoy working for nonprofit organizations. The local senior center, Boy Scouts, The Forest Grove Rotary Concours d'Elegance.

If you could muster the courage, what would you like to do?
Start my own business.

If you relive one day, which would it be?
The day I asked my girlfriend to be my wife. I would do a much better job of asking.

What is the best advice your parents gave you?
To give of yourself.
