I was first invited to join Rotary in 1996

What other Rotary involvement have you had? (Exchange, Friendship exchange, GSE, etc.)
I have served on a District Committee since 1996 that raises funds for Operation Smile. Operation Smile provides free corrective facial deformity surgeries world wide.

eClub works for me because...
I have two small children and a job that does not allow me to leave work to attend a traditional meeting. I only work part=time and try to have my day off correlate with the Rotary meeting. When it doesn't I use the e-clubs for make ups.

Outgoing. Always looking for adventures.

What are your favorite things, in personal and work life?
My husband and 2 children. Running.

Some least favorite things?
Not enough time to do all of the things I'd like to do.

What type of vehicle do you drive, or doperfer another mode of transportation?
Mini Van-not very exciting, but practical

What type of pets do you prefer?
A standard poodle named Shadow. 3 cats who were all deposited at my home. Jabba the Hut, Peanut and Blacky.

Working at Rax- a fast food place

What are your hobbies?
Running. Horse back riding. Sewing. My children. Not necessarily in that order.

Books

What is your favorite meal?
I like to cook and I like to go out. My favorite meal--I love to eat. I like hispanic foods and also a good steak (cooked medium).

Miscellaneous

What is your favorite book and why?
How to win friends and influence enemies. I read this book in my early 20's. It has helped me greatly in my life.

If money were not an a concern, what profession would you choose?
Beach Bum

What might surprise people about you?
Nothing. I work in the ER. I have seen just about everything.

If you relive one day, which would it be?
The day I had my children. It would be great to savor that moment again.

If you could take only three items with you to a space colony, what would they be? (Your family is already coming with.)
Diet Pepsi, soap, a comfortable pair of jeans.

Describe the most beautiful sight you have ever seen:
The sunrise, many different places around the world.

Where would you like to retire?
North or South Carolina. You have a change of seaon, but winter is only a few days.

When people try to understand each other and treat them as they would want to be treated. Also, letting people live the way they want, as long as they are not harming someone else.
