President; Deer Valley Rotary 2001- 2002.
Secretary; Visalia Breakfast Rotary and Deer Valley Rotary (about 10 times combined - I lost track)
Which was your favorite? What roles would you be interested in pursuing?
Being club president was a great experience - at least once. I guess being secretary was OK too given the number of times I was talked into it.

None currently. I like dogs, but don't have a yard for one right now.

What is your current occupation?
I'm an architect recently working with a construction management firm, evaluating and monitoring construction projects for the banks and insurance companies that finance the projects. Currently, I'm looking for work with my own practice; Canter Studio.
How long have been at your current occupation?
33 years in architecture, facilities and construction management.
What was the least favorite job you've ever had?
I worked the graveyard shift of an industrial laundry for a factory making smoke marking grenades for the U.S. Army.
What are your hobbies?
Backpacking (especially the Grand Canyon), snow skiing, photography, reading and various art and craft work.

Occasionally when time permits - skiing, football (US type)

No favorite, but I enjoy spicy and various foods from around the world.

No favorite, but I love books - especially if they have lots of pictures! So many books - so little time!
If you could meet your great-great grandparents, what would you ask them?
What was your world like? They came from such a different time and place I have no idea what their world was like, but, I'd like to know more.
If money were not an a concern, what profession would you choose?
I'd just keep practicing architecture until all the money was gone!
What is your favorite movie? Why?
I don't have a single favorite. I enjoy movies of various types depending on my mood.
What might surprise people about you?
I'm something of a ski bum at heart!
If you could muster the courage, what would you like to do?
Retire and do Rotary full time.

What is the best advice your parents gave you?
Make education a priority.
Describe the most beautiful sight you have ever seen:
There have been many, and varying types, but a scenic one that comes to mind is the north rim of the Grand Canyon in October, viewed while walking through an aspen grove with the Fall color of leaves changing.
Where would you like to retire?
My place in Groom Creek in the mountains outside Prescott, AZ.
