eClub works for me because...

I am only in the place where my home club is for 4-5 months per year, so I require frequent makeups. eCLUB is terrific for my convenience, but also because it helps me learn a lot about Rotary, since I am new.

How would you describe yourself?

I am an intense and serious guy, but I think I am also capable of much humor. A semi-retired family man.

Semi-retired. The current work status is Managing Director of TLC Ingredients, a distributor of chemicals and food ingredients in the Chicago area.

What was the least favorite job you've ever had?

working as a laborer in a chemical warehouse as a teenager, lifting 100 bags of acid all day

What are your hobbies?

Golf, reading, crosswords, downhill skiing, family time

golf and cycling. Used to do distance cycling, up to 200 miles in a single day. Too old now and fat for that.

Generally anything my wife prepares and serves from a can of Campbell's to beef Wellington. Italian food-especially lasagna.

Lance Armstrong--I admire his incredible determination, plus he dates hot chicks

If money were not an a concern, what profession would you choose?

I'd like to be David Letterman above all else, but other than that I would be a University profesor.

i used to be in the seminary studying for the priesthood.

Jump out of a plane

What is the best advice your parents gave you?

Work hard--nobody is going to give it to you.

What is the best advice you have given your children?

There is much more to life than your career--family first.

My dog, Hannah because she has it pretty good.

Women have more control over world governments, especially ours. Too much testosterone is used in political decision making.
