As new members of this eClub, my husband and I love to visit other Rotary Clubs.  We have recently visited the Rotary Club of Las Vegas, New Mexico.  This club has 39 members, and generally has about 75% attendance.  We were amazed at the quality aned quanity of service projects they perform.  One was obtaining 350, new heavy winter coats for kids in need in this small community. Very impressive!

I believe that it is a good idea to visit other clubs and to stay in touch with members of our previous club.  This weekend I am planning to attend the BiDistrict Meeting to be held in South Padre Island, Texas.  My previous district and a few districts from Northern Mexico meet once every year (One time in Mexico and another time in the USA) to enchance fellowship among members and to plan Matching Grants.  It is usually a wonderful, fun thing to do.  The whole affair ends with a party and dance during the last evening together.  Although, I am no longer a member of this district, I still participate in some of their activities.
