To all my Rotarian friends around the world: 

In this my first intervention I want to express to you my commitment with each one of you, in the task that you entrusted me in this Rotarian year.

I had a chat with my good friend Larry, who successfully carried out the direction of the Service Committee of the past Rotarian year, and we commented of the need to continue with the projects, let me tell you them that this is not an easy to continue, since Larry put all his energy and will of service to carry out the projects and that he concluded successfully; thanks Larry for Your counsels, suggestions and recommendations, I will continue them just as you presented it to me.

Never as today, I feel very much compromised with my Club, I expect and desire that the projects not only be equal in opportunities, but we are increased, on behalf of a humanity clearly attacked by multiple factors.

I expect that upon finalizing our Rotarian year, we have completed with the expectations, and the goals that we have pledged to do and even more!!, with the new ideas and projects that on the road arise.  Our Rotarian wheel as organization never  stops rolling, although if we should be honest, at times it becomes difficult to push it, so, let us be all together united, let us be the ones that push the wheel so it rotates faster, but it depends on you, in me, and in all, like group, as team, as a soul that desires to help, to be of service, to make a better world, but with love, with kindness, with justice…

Because of it and but moreover to help those that need the most, I invite you to compromise more, to you that sometimes feel that time is not enough to carry out the tasks, try to make the TIME for this important task and put this task in your priority list and let us all use the computer technology and push the Rotarian wheel right now.

Yes!!, we carry a heavy load indeed but let us rise, let us be like those who have the courage and values to Service without borders and I quote some phrases of Paul Harris  “If Rotary has encouraged us to take a more kindly Outlook on life and men; if Rotary has taught us greater tolerance and the desire to see the best in others; if Rotary has brought us pleasant and helpful contacts with others who also are trying to capture and radiate the joy and beauty of life, then Rotary has brought us all that we can expect”.

Here are our challenges:

1) Expanding our Dictionary Project (We have 2,000.00 already approved)

2) Matching Grant project with the Rotary Club Providenciales in Turks and Caicos (For this we have 5,000.00  approved)

3) Expanding the reach of the Ashley Kaimowitz Memorial Fund (We have 100.00 for this Project that with our joint effort could increase in the course of this year.

4) Expanding the Rotary Peace Project ( Here, we need more ideas to expand this proyect)

5) Tracking and supporting our local community service (dear friends, here, we also need more ideas to support our community).

I expect your support in these projects, and if you have more ideas as to how we can put this to work right away and as far as the Direction I have this year, please feel free to comment, time is running and goes fast, so let us put to work all together!!!! , and only you can help!!!!
