Maui

HERE TODAY... GONE TO MAUI!As it is said and so we shall, starting Saturday. For nearly two weeks we'll just crash and listen to Pacific Waves. Months ago, I had requested a link, on the D5000 Hawaii website and casually mentioned that I could speak on history while on Maui, then forgot about it. I'm hoping to have a Rotary vacation, since I work on Rotary Global History 365/6 days a year. No complaints,
I'm very grateful to do so. However, two days ago, I got a message saying that the main Maui club was looking forward to my talk, two days after we arrive, and their website also announced it. So, that will be an unexpected by pleasant date. We'll get dressed up for Rotary and then use that day to visit some of the posh resorts, where the truly wealthy will be garbed in shorts or even towels. But, no matter, my parents taught me to dress nicely when you go to fine hotels, such as the Florence in Missoula, Montana.
I'll attend our meeting via cell phone on the 17, and also attend the Maui Club that day as well, then the 24th on cell phone. Sherry and I spend our honeymoon on Maui, in October of 1993. I'm shocked to find that I was only 49 years old then. Time has flown by. See ya!

I will have to read the Venice program when we get home to Colorado . The ATTEND button would not work from my new phone... The folks at the Kahului club had never heard of eClubs. Do we agree to meet at the same time? When do we see each other? ... I have no urge to find an internet café and my friends are tending to RGHF, so maybe I'm finally on vacation?
