As I reflected on the comments on the program I attended today ("Giving Thanks" on 11/29/2008), it occurred to me that a particular strength of our system is the explicit invitation to share a thought about each week's program.

Initially, this struck me as simply an advantage of the online system.  Perhaps, though, it is also an opportunity to share an idea with traditional clubs.  Were a terran club to finish a meeting by encouraging each member to share a thought about the program with someone else, it might be a strong tool for sharing Rotary with others.  They could additionally choose to do so on a club's web site, helping members develop another avenue for sharing ideas in ways that physical proximity sometimes misses.

What else are we learning in RECSWUSA that could help traditional Rotary clubs - in ways both big and small?
