Pittsburgh won; Pittsburgh won; Pittsburgh won; Pittsburgh won....

Pittsburgh six.....................................Arizona zero..................

By the way, if you did not notice, I was born in Pittsburgh at ONE time.

Joe, but who is cheering about a little thing like Champions?

Yeah.

I noticed.

Not to be a sore loser, but it seemed like it was the plan all along for Pitty to win.

Ah well.  In 65 years the Cardinals can try again!

Trying to get without first giving is as fruitless as trying to reap without having first sown.

It does not do to leap a 20 ft chasm in two ten foot jumps.

Yes, I knew this fact!  Congratulations!  It certainly was a classy ending, and they certainly deserved to win.

OK, I have enjoyed myself enough. It was a good game. It is short lived and in the past. I have only one question now that it is over. Should it be something where we use forum space or weekly President's messages to cheer a football team. I certainly was cheering but when I wrote my forum reply I could not but think "Is this something that should be part of an eRotary forum or as part of the weekly message for our meeting?" We are a global eClub so we should, if we are to cheer for our teams, ask others around the world what their local teams have done in soccer, tennis, etc. I would like to hear from our members about what is happening in "your neck of the woods" (in other words, your country or region of the world).

I remember playing football for my scholarship in college (sure, they called it an academic scholarship but it helped that I played football). We celebrated victories but we were young and did not understand that really winning is when both sides win.

Maybe that is why, as I look back on the Super Bowl, I enjoyed it. Both teams won my respect. It was win-win but I am sure that Arizona fans may not feel that way. Today, I cheer both teams for the enjoyment of their play.
