This thread is a little like a facebook stream.  Post your status or current activity for others to see or comment on.

It's raining in NY and I'm on my way into the City on my  daily commute.  I love it as it gives me an hour a day to read - if not people watching that is.

Trying to get without first giving is as fruitless as trying to reap without having first sown.

Coming to the realization that, in retirement, weekends are a disruption to the flow of weekday contentment.

The sun came out though it's a little hazy.

Just working the day away, which is going quicker and quicker it seems.

I spent the night in the City while my darling daughter was at a slumber party.

I need a vacation!

I used to have an N guage.  Loved it.  You should post a photo some time.

Hey Vimal, since you're already at the end of the day, can you tell me how it's going to turn out for me?  It's off to a crazy start.

I'm finishing a day at the office - the first quiet day I've had in 5 months - my job has been a whirlwind this past spring, I like to think of it as being caught in a sandstorm wearing sandals :-)

I'm sitting here stunned and excited to see seven people on the site at once!

Now to get us all in the chat room....

As usual, I find myself doing more than I have time for.  :-)

Latest endeavor:  There is a new restaurant and dance place in town (San Juan Capistrano, CA) that has dancing from 2:00PM to 10:00PM during the week, and until 11:00PM on weekends.  The establishment caters to those of us who must be home by 8:00 and in bed by 9:00PM (even if sleep does not come until hours later).

They have swing lessons on Mondays and Line Dancing on Wednesday, followed by free dancing until 10:00PM.

If any of you find yourself in the area, look up 210DANCE in San Juan Capistrano.  The downside of this place is it is hidden by the dinky little post office by the railroad tracks.

So, that's what I did last week. I put on my dancing shoes and injured a few toes.
