How to post pictures on the forum

How to post pictures on the forum

For anyone that would like to share photos on the forum I thought I'd provide some brief direction.  It's really quite easy and we love to see your pics.

To do so, the first thing you must do is upload the photo.  You can use one of the many free photo sharing sites.  I often use photobucket.com. Another option is to use the photo gallery on your acccount here.  You can access it by going to 'My Account.'

Either way, once uploaded, you need the URL of the image.

If you use photobucket, after you upload you move your mouse cursor over the image you want and four options will appear.  Cut and paste the one titled ' Direct Link.'

If you use your gallery here, once uploaded, go to your actual photo gallery by clicking on 'my account' in the menu bar.   On that page find 'View My' on the left and select 'Online Profile Page.'  Again on the left go to your photo gallery and select teh photo you want to share.  Click on it so you are viewing it.  Then right click on it and select 'View Photo.' Once you've done this, copy the URL of the photo from the browser navigation box at the top of your browser.

Now that, through one method or another, you have the URL of the photo you want, click on the small icon of the tree in the tools above the dialogue box when you are posting in the forum.  Paste the photo URL into the top field titled 'Image URL'.  That's it.  Not need to fill any of the other fields.

When you post your comment, the image will be included.

Try it out.  You can't break anything.

If you need help, as your question here.  As we know, there are no dumbs and it might help someone else who is having the same challenge.

 Thanks, and post some pics!
