Changing (and updating) our Bylaws
Posted: 2 years ago
From time-to-time, our club reviews our bylaws and makes sure that they still meet our needs. It's been a couple years or more since we've done this, and because we're now (July 1st) a permanent part of Rotary, it makes sense to review the bylaws again now.
You can find the bylaws (PDF) here.
Please read them carefully, and see if they meet your needs, if there might be better ways of organizing or doing things.
For example, I think it makes sense to break Youth out of the Service Projects Committee and make it a standing committee that includes Youth Exchange, RYLA, our eRotaract Club, possibly Interact Clubs, etc. This would be consistent with Youth being the new fifth Avenue of Service.
Please add your ideas! We'll compile all the proposed changes and get them out to you in time to vote before the end of June.

Hi Everyone,
The bylaws are listed on the About US link on our web site - or you can download them directly here:

I agree!! My dad was PDG from 5260 and most of those clubs in that Dt. (or so my memory recalls) Youth and VOcational were separate. Other than that I will now read the ByLaws and if I ave any other thoughts I will post.
