Bubba Jay III

When I visited Bubba Jay III this last weekend (and his wife Hummingbird Rose), I forgot that he told me to try something and report back to all you Rotarians. He asked me to count silver and light bronze or gold cars in the YMCA parking lot on the affluent side and then compare that to the cars on the workers' side of the buildings. Well, I had time, waiting for Anne to finished her water aerobics so I did what he asked: "There were 42 silver and light bronze or gold cars in the lot from 130 that were parked there (there were also ten white cars but he told me to discount those since it was by people who could not make up their minds), which means, Bubba told me, that in a recession 32% of affluent clients use the color of their cars to make themselves feel better and support their inner resolve." It seems to work out because there was only one silver car in the workers' parking lot, out of 21 parked there. I wonder if Bubba is correct: Color of your car is important in a recession?
