Dear friends in Rotary:
just a quick note to say that we are well. Needless to say, others, who were less fortunate, are experiencing a hard time here, and so we need to give a helping hand and support where we can. But all these bad times shall pass. There are continuously aftershocks, and the problem with the power supply is as real as it can get, but this, too, shall pass.
yours in Rotary - we are all one big family,

Thanks for the update Ryofu. Please keep us informed and know that you and the current situation are top of mind. Let us know when and how we might be of physical support, beyond the thoughts and prayers currently being offered.
Trying to get without first giving is as fruitless as trying to reap without having first sown.

Oh, great. Do you have any ideas what we can do? Is Shelterbox an option for this.
Also - has Lew heard from his son? I'll email him, I guess.

My son is fine, he is in Germany. His wife's family is accounted for and all is well.
Thank you for asking.

Spoke with my son and daughter in law today. Confirmed all family are fine.
They are dismayed with the media coverage. Both of her parents are university professors. They asked me to pass along that life in Tokyo and southern Japan is pretty much back to normal. The only restrictions are a "hoarding" regulation was passed to prevent people from buying to much of certain goods.
