New Orleans

Those heading to the Convention in the big easy may engage with more people than I did on my recent visit in 2010, as my stops were rather... deserted. Here's a slideshow of a few spots in NOLA.
However, Bourban street was alive and well i must report! (beads)
Enjoy,
Mike

My stops included:- Six Flags (spent 11 hrs here),
- Power Station (aka "wasteland" by locals) on Mississippi,
- Dixie Brewing Co. (Tulane & Rocheblave),
- N.O. Adult School (St Claud & Pauger),
- 9th ward, a condemmed home and a law office still filled with books.
I was amazed at the devestation that remained 5 years later. Was also impressed with the resiliency and spirit of the citizens. Patience too, that city has a long ways to go.

Hello Mike,
I am interested in your photos of New Orleans and tried to open the link: mike@rosatiphotos.com, but it did not work. Is there another way to watch your pictures, please? I enjoyed taking pictures of local people in the streets, and now I will make paintings from these photos. Thank you for your answer. Best regards. Françoise
PS: I will send some of my pictures in a file attached with an email.
