The club activation idea
Posted: 11 months ago
We gathered ideas about the activation of the club in D2720 in Japan.I'd like to introduce the ideas.I would be glad if you consulted them.1It exchanges a handshake each other by all the members in regular meeting. And the New member shakes hands with all the members.2)If it exceeded the percentage of attendance in the regular meeting, we put a rose to the chest of the President and we put a rose to the bulletin board.3)We sing a children's song in addition to the rotary song in the regular meeting.4)We make and sing songs of the club in the regular meeting.5)The very person explain in "smile box" funnily.6)We do a combined regular meeting and it improves the relations with the other club members.

Hello Hiro...Reading your first lines, I thought you suggested us a math problem.."How many hands each has shaken?" I am kidding you. Why not giving a rose to carol if our attendance is very good? We count the roses and at the end of the year, we will give them to her! Good idea! About the song, kate and Frank are training...they will be ready next year!

You can send an email to your two neighbours on the members profiles list ...it will be like a shakehand...and do that until they reply...you have to be patient, believe me!

Françoise--- You are correct about having to be patient! However, I think that with the no. of members we now have, we have a better chance of having conversations in our quorums. I am a little nervous about your comment: "Frank and Kate are in training." Do you mean that we are in training concerning lessons on the ukelele? I want you to know that I played the harmonica at some point during my youth, and that is what I am going to try to resurrect first!
Hiro, please keep up the good work!

Frank, I was kidding you and wanted to make other members curious about these ukulele lessons! Your youth is not too far ... and I am happy to know that you will resurrect your harminica..........that' s a very romantic instrument and the reason why I do like country music.....

Françcoise---It makes me wonder if we have any other harmonica enthusiasts in our club. How about guitar players? Other instruments?

Look...if we can't play any instrument---my piano and guitar lessons are so far!!!- we can sing...The voice is a wonderful instrument...Isn't it?

Yes, the voice is a wonderful instrument when it can be used appropriately! Unfortunately, for me, it is better to play the harmonica or any other instrument instead of relying on my voice. At any rate, music is a wonderful hobby because it enriches our lives. Hopefully, more people in our club will be inclined to let us know what their passion is!
