I am interested in setting up a Satellite Club in Western Australia. What do you think? It's mainly for Fly-in Fly-out professionals, where we have major O&G and Mining projects. I would like to know the thoughts of the Rotary eclub members because I am looking for an eclub to join.
I've created a poll as well.

Thanks, that's exactly the idea. I started the process to setup an eclub here and had to stop it half way thru.
This is the link to the project website. http://www.rotaryeclubwa.org/
What I would like to do is to join with an eclub, of course contribute to eclub activities, but to convert what I envisaged here to a Satellite Club. It'll bring a new perspective to Rotary in Western Australia, and a good pilot project to the eclub as well. I can see an excellent website, great membership here, so why should we re-create the wheel? We can invest that time on Rotary Activities. I understand that this can be done by way of an informal group. But, I thought it would be a good idea to make it a bit formal so that we can organise fellowship events etc. There are many US, UK expats in WA working for major O&G and Mining Companies as well.
I would love to here from more members.

Firstly, I did not understand what you exactly meant with a "satellite club"...And now, get it! So, Gerry is right, join us, look and observe what goes on around you in the eclub...and decide! Friendly Regards. Françoise
