Francoise:

I am a new member who will be inducted on 7/4.  In my introduction to the eClub, I have included a photo album of Rotary Service Projects that I have worked on over the years.  Here is the link for your forum:

One of my goals at RECSWUSA is to continue to build my photography portfolio to include more International Service projects.  If any one knows of a good project that needs to be photographed, please let me know.

Here are some photos from a recent photography trip to Mt Lassen in Northern California.  We went primarily to photograph the Milky Way.

I think I learned the trick to posting albums on this forum.  After you type the URL link, high-light it and then click on the link symbol at the top of the text box.  This will ask you to re-enter the URL.

Let me try it and see if it works.

Hey, Francoise, you went to my home town.  Can you believe I learned to drive a standard shift (manual shift) car in San Francisco?  Well, if, as a teenager, you never knew fear, try learning to drive in the city with your parent's car.

Wonderful pictures, Françoise!  They brought back great memories of my last trip to SF and the Northern California wineries near Sebastopol.  We crossed the GG Bridge and went several miles into the wine country.  The ford truck reminded me of my 1949 Ford truck when I was a teenager.  What, no pictures of Willie Nelson?

I listened to Willie Nelson in Paris, several years ago! it was great! A so good atmosphere...every people wore cow boys clothes, santiags and hats! Funny!

My wife and I as well as many of our friends also like Willie Nelson.  Maybe I can learn to play one of his songs on my harmonica.  It will take a lot of practice!

Let me tell you my favorite Willie Nelson ( slow) songs : "Hallelujah", "Always on my mind"; " Your loves"; "Amazing grace";  "My heroes have always been cow boys", "Everywhere I go", "All of you"...Do you know them? Hope you will learn one of his songs!

"Amazing Grace" is probably the easiest to learn on the harmonica, at least for me.  Maybe I can learn it by Rotary Convention time in Lisbon, Portugal.

Almost 2 years! You can do it, Frank! We will ask Kate to play ukulele with you and each musician will be encouraged to join the eclub band! Why not! As far as I am concerned...I will sell the tickets or speak in the microphone like the woman in NO, on the first evening...do you remember of her ? So funny!

Yes, I do remember her.  She was very funny, but active and alive!  I recently read an article on the trumpeter who is still playing at the age of 100.  I guess he was there that evening, and I did not notice.  I really enjoyed the music and the outing.  Let us all get ready for Lisbon.  Kate can accompany with her ukelele.
