Wednesday, the 27th was my birthday. What a surprise I received! Having told many of you about my being a chocoholic, Francoise remembered. She managed to have sent to me the most luscious box of DARK chocolates. I am not quite sure how she did this, as the box arrived packed in plastic bags of ice and was perfect. And it was 107 degrees here in Phoenix that day. Isn't the e-Club wonderful? Who could have imagined this event even 10 years ago! Thank you again, Francoise.

Hello Norma! It should have been a secret between us! From now, everyone will expect a UPS gift on his birthday!  Do you remember the first time we met? Several months ago, Joe, our president asked us to say" Hello" to our fellow member on the left, on the member page....The e-clubber on my left was...YOU...Before droping a note to you, I read you bio, noticed that you liked dark chocolate like me, and I talked about that...and note after note, we became friends...Miss Truly Candid! We just have to meet in person...I will go to Phoenix in next june...and I expect to see you! Enjoy!

I do remember you writing me early on about chocolate. We probably have much more than that in common. It would be delightful to see you next June. However, it is be VERY, VERY hot! June is usually our hottest month, but it is dry. Today is 107* and muggy because we are in our monsoon season. (I just had two chocolates -- yummy. I think I will simply quit weighing.)
