August 1 is the first day the Rotary ROse Parade Float Committee takes volunteers to help decorate floats for the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade.  This year on January 2 as the parade is never held on a Sunday.  Main decorating days are Dec. 26 through Dec. 31 (a lil maybe on Jan 1).  There are two shifts per day 8-3:00pm and 3:00pm until 11:00pm.  90 volunteers per shift are needed.  We are decorating two floats this year, one promoting RI and another one to simply help out and live up to our  motto "Service Above Self"

If you are just planning a visit, you can drop by and if we have the staff available a private tour of the floats can be arranged.  Staff must first attend to the float, the decorators and any emergencies.  But otherwise we are happy to walk you around!
