This year, the Rotary eClub of the Southwest USA sponsored six delegates to the Rotary District 5495 Ponderosa Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA). Thanks to a strong recruiting effort by a school counselor at Chandler High School, more students requested to attend RYLA than the local Rotary Club could pay for, and the two delegates from Valley Vista High School came from an area served by the Rotary District 5495 Pinerock RYLA and had no Rotary Club to sponsor them.
